Before and after...
This is a selection of past jobs. I've included a set of before and after pictures taken in roughly the same position to give a clear idea of the sometimes remarkable difference a decent lime mortar job makes.

All the cement rubbish has gone, the voids filled and mortared correctly. Pretty pleasing, don't you think?

The internal walls were quite damp, and no wonder
it looks good and it allows the internal walls to dry out.
This is a 150 year old barn (now converted to living space) which is showing obvious signs of dilapidation, and some pretty dodgy cement based repairs.
What a difference - all the old mortar and cement removed and replaced with lovely lime mortar
